Noemi Bardas

Noemi is a facilitator, community developer and movement practitioner originally from Romania and currently Rotterdam-based.

She is passionate about the intersection between participatory art practices and participatory forms of governance. More specifically, she is investigating how dance and movement can play a role in supporting civic engagement and self-organisation. With an approach rooted in systems thinking, mindfulness and performing arts, she connects people and brings them together in dialogue. She facilitates groups to move, discuss, make and reflect. 

At CORPO, she wishes to connect the local community in a space of physical exploration. In this space, they can research together the interactions between personal, interpersonal and societal fields: between one’s physical sensations, emotions and thoughts, and the local physical, cultural and political environment.
